Blanco, Texas is about an hour’s drive from both Austin and San Antonio, and a short drive from Fredericksburg, Wimberley, and Kerrville. It is a cool mix of multi-generational ranch families and other small green businesses. As you meander along the scenic Blanco River toward Luz, you may spy a local vineyard, see llamas, goats, cows, and horses, and catch the scent of a local lavender farm. Trees and plants of all varieties dot the property, with a creek at the bottom of the meditation trail. Blanco State Park and the Blanco River are 6 miles away, offering swimming, fishing, and kayaking.
